Remarks

• small white pecten up to 24mm.
• surface of radial rows with small scales.
• can be confused with Delectopecten macrocheiricola (Habe, 1951) from Japan but the surface is more smooth than the latter species.
• another related species is Delectopecten fosterianus (Powell, 1933) from New Zealand.
